The Hell Guards are the shadows that surround Hell's outermost parts that prevent unintended access and departure from Hell. If someone attempts to escape, the Guards promptly shroud the victim in darkness, before clasping them and draining their soul, leaving their body to rot, which finishes them off for good.

Frollo Gets Flashed by a Gothic Lolita[]
Hans Frollo got his soul consumed by the Guards.
In their debut episode, Hans Frollo misses Corset's spike with a "one in five millions" chance to escape Hell, yet ultimately experiences death beyond death when he attempted to do so, making him the first character to have their soul consumed.
Frollo Finally Does It (Last Story)[]
In the promo to Part 5 (Last Story), Fegelein and Mephiles, trapped in the pitch-black void since Part 1, encounter similar shadowy hands. They are seen consuming the words "is coming to an end..." and Mephiles's Game Boy Color after he drops it.
After feasting on Madotsuki's uncontrollable sorrowful mind, Perfect Wilford Brimley then turns black and loses his facial features along with his supernatural abilities. He then splits up into an array of long shadowy hands that engulf the remaining members of Frollo's team.
As Stocking reveals to be Panty in the white void, Stocking’s eyes are faded alongside being covered in a black fog under her hair, and a small black hand is seen crawling out of her right knee, which is how Hell Guards are represented.
The Last Laugh[]
The Hell Guards appear as a part of The Flesh Truck, holding onto Madotsuki's knife spike used to kill Frollo and Stocking.
Leet Fighters[]
In "Daring Death", Kneesocks reveals their name to Bison and Guile, informing that "consuming those who dare death is their rule!" She also goes on to say they have existed before any angel or demon, before Guile realizes her hair looks like a sea wave, and promptly zones out on it.
It is also revealed that the Guards were not responding to anyone who escaped Hell via the springboard Frollo and Gaston used in Frollo Misses his Mother.

- As revealed inside of Chincherrinas' official ask.fm, Perfect Wilford Brimley is considered to be a Hell Guard who has yet to reach his maximum power, or who has yet to reach the full status of a true Hell Guard.[1]
- The reason why the Hell Guards didn’t stop anyone who uses the springboard may be because of Gaston who is a reality warping god & is the one who added it.
- Hell Guards are limited in how many souls they can absorb in one singular universe. This serves as one of the major reasons Ronald McDonald destroyed The Frollo Show Cartridge, as doing so would ensure that Wilford Brimley would be serve as a functional Hell Guard. [2]
